What does "forward deployed engineer" mean?
It's the industry name for an engineer who works inside your team rather than from a distance. They learn your processes first-hand, on site when that helps, and build AI where it actually fits.
How long is an engagement?
From a few weeks for a focused use case to several months for a broader programme. We agree scope and milestones up front.
Is our data safe?
Yes. Before we build anything, we agree where your data lives. Options include open-source models running entirely on your own servers, models hosted in your own cloud account, or business AI plans that don't train on your data, with sensitive details removed before anything is sent. Your documents and knowledge base stay on systems you control, we work within the NZ Privacy Act 2020, and we tell you if a provider processes data overseas.
